About Peristyle

Past, present, and future of food content

There is a shift in how we find, share, and act on what we read online. Food blogs used to run on display ads; as human web traffic declines, that model is breaking down. Peristyle meets creators and bloggers where the industry is today and sets them up for what comes next.

Peristyle designs for readers and AI assistants alike, so the people who find your recipes actually cook them.

Who is behind this

Peristyle is built by me, Keith: a software engineer, entrepreneur, and husband. I get a lot of joy from building products that improve people's lives. If you are reading this as a food creator or blogger, you probably stuck your neck out and took a real risk to make that happen. People who forge their own path are the ones I love helping succeed.

I watch a lot of food content, but watching was never the point; there was too much friction between seeing a recipe and actually eating it. My wife and I love cooking, yet finding recipes, turning them into a shopping list, checking the pantry, and making the store run ate up too much of the week. The routine wore on us, and we usually settled for boring meals. I hear the same story from many others. Now each of our meals starts with ingredients delivered to our doorstep and a recipe tested by a professional.

My wife has been alongside me through it: testing early releases, reading every page before it ships, and bringing me back to earth when I need it.
